Innerspace

Level One: for 7 - 9 Year Old Children
This eight week Emotional Literacy, Wellbeing & Resilience Program will teach you to use the practical Expressive Therapies groupwork program for children 7 - 9 years of age. The program is multiple intelligence approach to supporting children, based on the theories and activities of Expressive Therapies. There is a particular focus on knowing self, enhancing communication and group bonding.

Both level one and level two (10 - 14 years) support children with emotional or behavioural challenges, affected by grief and loss, at risk of depression, with relational difficulties, with low self-esteem, help young people expand their self-understanding, improve interpersonal effectiveness, develop the skills of self-reflection, emotional support and empathic communication. These programs present new ways to foster resilience and mental wellbeing in students.

This program uses a range of proven personal development and inner-life skills-building techniques, such as writing, emotional literacy tools, emotional and somatic mapping, responding to music, bioenergetics, relaxation skills, imagination and self-esteem activities, visualisation and self-discovery worksheets.
